Holly Hinman is a proactive journalist specializing in print and broadcast news since 2018 when she was just a high school sophomore.
She reported and served as editor-in-chief of her high school newspaper, the Horizon Howl, then later her community college paper, The Chaparral of College of the Desert, as a reporter, assignment editor, and, eventually, editor-in-chief.
In broadcast, she has worked as a news producer and assignment desk intern for KESQ (ABC-TV) News Channel 3, covering the Greater Palm Springs area. The 2024 presidential election led her to create a Voter’s Guide featuring the Democrats and Republicans running for office on a local, state and national scale. Her love for broadcast news developed from working for her high school’s broadcast news team, Aztec TV, where she anchored, recorded and assisted her peers with filming. Currently, she enjoys working in TV news because of the newsroom camaraderie while her passion for working in television continues to surge.
